Amalfi Package

1. Day 1
   -Naples/Amalfi Coast Arrival in Naples. You will be met by your tour leader who will assist with your transfer to your hotel. The rest of the day is at your own leisure. Later this afternoon, meet your tour leader for a welcome cocktail, orientation and welcome dinner.
2. Day 2
   – Amalfi Coast (Amalfi/Ravello) After breakfast, full day excursion of the Amalfi Coast. The Amalfi Coast is a stretch of coastline on the southern side of the Sorrentine Peninsula. You will visit Ravello – the dramatic hillside town, famous for its Villa Rufolo. Continue to Amalfi and its historical center with Saint Andrea’s Cathedral and the Cloister of Paradise. Dinner this evening.
3. Day 3
   – Amalfi Coast After breakfast, enjoy a local limoncello tasting to learn about the tradition and secrets behind the limoncello production. This delicious liquor has become a popular after dinner drink – both in Italy and around the world. Walk through the picturesque town of Minori, meet some of the locals, shop or enjoy the local cuisine. Dinner this evening. After dinner, learn the art of Italian pasta making by a “Master Pastaio” – come home a gourmet cook!
4. Day 4
   – Amalfi Coast The Amalfi Coast is famous for their colorful pottery/ceramics. Today you will have the opportunity to visit one of the local factories and see the fine art ceramics. Dinner this evening. Late night pizza making demonstration and tasting.
5. Day 5
   – Amalfi Coast/Capri Today, meet your tour leader for a full day guided excursion to Capri. Board your hydrofoil for your trip to the island of Capri, an enchanted island on the south side of the Gulf of Naples. Upon arrival, ride the “funicolare” and enjoy a walking tour of the historical city center. View of the “Faraglioni” – nature’s rock guardians of Capri. You will have free time to explore on your own. Dinner this evening. After dinner tasting of local limoncello.
6. Day 6
   – Amalfi Coast Today is a day at leisure. Dinner this evening. After dinner, come sample a local favorite, the “baba’”? Come try this delicious treat!!!
7. Day 7
   – Amalfi Coast After breakfast, meet your Tour Leader for a full day excursion to Sorrento and the Amalfi Coast. Visit Sorrento, full of fashion and artisan shops selling local products and wares. Stroll through the streets and “piazzette” of Sorrento, lined with orange and lemon trees. Continue to the “Belvedere”, the highest view point from where you can see the charming town of Positano. Farewell dinner this evening. Enjoy music and entertainment as you enjoy your last night in the beautiful Amalfi Coast.
8. Day 8
   – Amalfi Coast/USA After breakfast and check-out, board your private motor coach one last time for your transfer to Naples/Capodichino airport and your return flight home.
